2023 Local Content and Services Report
In Fiscal Year 2023, Ideastream Public Media ventured out of the studio and into the vibrant communities of our expanded 22-county service area. In the first year of our new strategic plan, Ideastream made great strides toward key goals: providing trustworthy news and information, spotlighting our region’s rich arts and entertainment scene, catalyzing the appreciation of timeless classical and jazz music and serving families in community spaces with high-quality educational programming. 2023–2025 Strategic Plan
The needs of our communities are changing. Trustworthy news is in great demand. Classical and jazz music are reaching new audiences. Digital content consumption only keeps growing. Over the next three years, Ideastream Public Media will meet these needs and expand its services to communities across Northeast Ohio and throughout all of Ohio. The Public Media Code of Integrity was adopted by the Ideastream Public Media Board of Trustees on October 30, 2013. This code addresses shared principles that are held by Ideastream Public Media and other public media organizations to strengthen the trust and integrity that local communities expect of valued public service institutions.
