Akron Symphony

The Akron Symphony’s annual Gospel Meets Symphony takes place on Saturday evening, February 25th, at Akron’s E. J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall.  330-535-8131  

Canton Symphony

Pianist Nikita Mndoyants, winner of the 2016 Cleveland International Piano Competition, will join the Canton Symphony Orchestra in concert at Umstattd Performing Arts Hall in Canton on Saturday evening, February 25th.  330-452-2094  

Chagrin Concert Series

The Chagrin Concert Series will feature pianist Per Enflo in music of Beethoven and Schumann.  Violinist Hristo Popov will join Per Enflo for the Brahms Violin Sonata No. 1 at Valley Lutheran Church in Chagrin Falls on Sunday afternoon, February 26th.  

Cleveland Orchestra

At Severance Hall, composer and conductor Matthias Pintscher will lead the Cleveland Orchestra in Thursday and Saturday evening concerts as well as a Friday matinee.  The program will include one of his own compositions and music of Debussy and Saint-Saens.  Pianist Cedric Tiberghien will make his Severance Hall debut.  216-231-1111

Heights Arts

Heights Arts will present a chamber program called Slavic Strings, performed  by Cleveland Orchestra members, that will include music of Martinu, Widmann and Dvorak, at Dunham Tavern on Sunday afternoon, February 26th.  Advance tickets are required.  216-371-3457  

Kent State University

At Kent State University, the Verve Chamber Players will perform music of Mendelssohn, Shostakovich and Brahms on Sunday evening, February 26th, in the Center for Performing Arts.  330-672-2787  

Rabbit Run Theater

Rabbit Run Theater and Lake Eric College present the music revue Songs for a New World weekends February 10th through 25th in the C. K. Rickel Theater at Lake Erie College.  

West Shore Chorale
