Looking for standards-based professional learning?  ideastream offers a wealth of professional learning opportunities.

ideastream's Education department provides a wide array of professional learning opportunities to thousands of educators in over 200 school districts in an eleven county area in Northeast Ohio.

Technology training services can be tailored to a district’s needs from novice to the scholar and can be provided in the ideastream teaching labs, in your school district, or via Distance Learning.

All sessions held at Idea Center at PlayhouseSquare unless otherwise noted below.

Graduate credit is available for workshops that meet university requirements.

Beginner SMART Board

Description:  Learn how you can use the SMART Board to improve attention, retention and test scores in your classroom by making computer usage an interactive and collaborative experience.

Description: Whether you have one iPad or a class set, learn how to enhance instruction by having students create iPad videos in any subject area.  In this session you will participate in the production of three sample videos in the areas of math, science, and English language arts for grades 4-12.   Receive instruction on how to help students create videos that address the common core standards.  Leave with stimulating lesson ideas.  A great session for those who want to transform the way they use their iPad!
