The Democratic Presidential nominee made a campaign stop in Cleveland at John Marshall High School.

Hillary Clinton began her visit to the west side public school with a tour of the new building which opened last year.  Then, inside a gymnasium packed full of supporters and politicians including Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, a John Marshall English Teacher introduced the candidate.

“American cannot afford Donald Trump.,” She said. “Hillary Clinton has been a strong supporter of public education and working people her whole career. “

Clinton delivered an economic speech that includes her plans for taxing the wealthy and corporations that outsource or move their headquarters overseas.  She says she’d use that money to create opportunities and more jobs.  She also wants more children to get an earlier start on their education and more students involved in vocational training programs.

“We are going to be more technical education. Not the old fashion kind,” said Clinton.  “But what I saw here at John Marshall. We are going to bring computer coding like I saw here in a class room a few minutes ago. Engineering and design work.”

Clinton says her plan would also grow the economy and create more jobs. -- 10 million according to an independent analysis by Moody’s.

“So what does that mean of Ohio? If we divide by across the country by population Ohio would gain 376,000 jobs under my plan and lose 120,000 under Donald Trump’s plans.,” said Clinton.

Clinton also discussed her plan to provide free community college and expand broadband to every home, including those in urban and rural communities.
