The Two Most Important Players in 2016 Aren’t Named Clinton or Trump

David Brock is an author and Democratic activist who switched allegiances after spending years as a conservative writer, playing a central role in unearthing Clinton controversies.

In 2004, Brock founded Media Matters, a  liberal-leaning, not-for-profit media watchdog organization. Following the 2010 elections, Brock founded the Democratic SuperPAC American Bridge, which is one of the largest modern campaign war rooms ever assembled using research, tracking, and rapid response to defeat Republicans.

He is the author of five books, including his 2002 best-selling memoir, Blinded by the Right: The Conscience of an Ex-Conservative, and Killing the Messenger: The Plot to Derail Hillary and Hijak Your Government, his most current book. His writing have appeared in USA Today, CNN.com, the Huffington Post, The Daily Beast and Salon.
