Bringing More Inner City Kids to the Mound

Members of the Boys & Girls Club in Cleveland's Slavic Village neighborhood are taking a swing at a new sport ... baseball. Coaches at the club say 179 youngsters have played the game this spring –  about 60 percent of them for the first time. The players' enthusiasm challenges the notion that inner-city children don't play baseball. ideastream's Mary Fecteau takes a look at the Boys & Girls Club program and the rich history of African American baseball players in Cleveland.
