You've probably heard of cancer or maybe you even know someone who has had cancer. But do you know precisely what it is and how people wind up with it?

Or did you know there are lots of places in our bodies where it can appear and that there are things people can do to reduce their chances of having cancer?

For some answers, we turn to our Be Well health reporter Kay Colby to take us on a trip to a cancer research lab.
