Postal Service Releases Maya Angelou Stamp With Quote From Another Author

Very few people are honored with their picture on a stamp - so it's a big deal that the postal service just issued new postage in honor of former U.S. Poet Laureate, Maya Angelou. Until there was a problem.

The Postal Service included a quotation of a phrase Angelou has often said, but it turns out it wasn't something Angelou originally wrote. She was actually quoting a 48-year-old book from another famous writer.

The postal service is defending the choice which reads, "A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song," saying the quote is associated with Angelou.
