Read the script:

SPEAKING OF PRESIDENTS, LET'S GO ACROSS THE GLOBE TO CHINA, THE NATIONAL PEOPLE'S CONGRESS THERE HAS VOTED TO ELIMINATE PRESIDENTIAL TERM LIMITS. A TERM LIMIT IS THE NUMBER OF TIMES SOMEONE IS ALLOWED TO BE ELECTED TO THE SAME POSITION BY LAW.

THE CURRENT PRESIDENT, XI JINPING, WOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO SERVE A 10- YEAR TERM. BUT WITH THE ELIMINATION OF LIMITS, IT APPEARS HE COULD RULE THE COUNTRY UNTIL HIS DEATH.

WE'VE TOLD YOU IN THE PAST THAT THE PRESIDENT OF CHINA'S ROLE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PRESIDENT IN THE UNITED STATES. WHILE XI RULES THE COUNTRY IN THE SAME WAY OUR PRESIDENT DOES, MOST OF HIS POWER COMES FROM BEING THE GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA, NOT FROM BEING PRESIDENT, AND THAT POSITION ALSO HAS NO TERM LIMITS. IN THE U.S., THE PRESIDENT IS LIMITED TO ONLY TWO FOUR-YEAR TERMS CONSECUTIVELY.

AROUND THE GLOBE A LITTLE MORE. OFFICIALS IN NEW ZEALAND HAVE CLEARED A TAXI EXPERIMENT THERE, AND IT'S READY TO GO. ZEPHYR AIRWORK'S WAS GIVEN APPROVAL TO START TESTING ELECTRIC AIRCRAFTS. SOUNDS FUN.

THE COMPANY RELEASED THIS FOOTAGE OF THE TAXIS, WHICH ARE PRETTY QUIET AND COMPACT. ONE DAY, WE MIGHT BE HAILING THESE DRONE-LIKE VEHICLES FOR A RIDE, INSTEAD OF A YELLOW CAB.

FROM THE TRAVEL OF THE FUTURE, LET'S CHECK BACK ON A MODE OF TRANSPORTATION FROM THE PAST. THE IDITAROD DOG SLED RACE WE TOLD YOU ABOUT LAST WEEK NOW HAS A WINNER. NORWAY'S JOAR LEIFSETH ULSOM AND HIS EIGHT DOGS FINISHED THE RACE ACROSS ALASKA IN NINE DAYS AND 12 HOURS.

ULSOM IS JUST THE SECOND MUSHER FROM NORWAY TO EVER WIN THE IDITAROD. FOR WINNING THE PRESTIGIOUS DOG SLED RACE, ULSOM WINS A NEW TRUCK AND $50,000 IN PRIZE MONEY.
