Mary Norris, long-time editor for The New Yorker magazine talks about sharing her life story and her life’s work in her book Between You and Me: Confessions of a Comma Queen.  Mary reads from her book tonight at 7:30 at book launch partyat Happy Dog West, in an event sponsored by Belt Magazine…plus naturalist Scott Weidensaulexplains what messing with birds can teach us.  Scott comes to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to speak as part of the Explorer Series Friday May 1st at 7pm…and  jazz singer Ester Radadescribes how growing up in Israel, as the child of Ethiopian Jewish refugees shaped her music.  Ester appears at tonight at 7:30 at the Hanna Theatre in Playhouse Square in a Tri-C Jazz Festperformance celebrating International Jazz Day.
