Minimum Wage

While the debate over raising the federal minimum wage continues with no action in Washington, local communities are making the move to hike wages. And a proposal being considered by Cleveland City Council, a raise from Ohio's $8.10 per hour minimum to $15 in one step, is being called the most aggressive re-set of the minimum wage anywhere. Is it the right thing to do and the right way to do it? We'll discuss Cleveland's proposal this morning and take a look at how minimum wage hikes were done, and how they're faring, elsewhere, including Seattle and Massachusettes.
