House Leaders Talk About Big Bills Passed In 2015, And About What's Coming Up

This session of the General Assembly started strong and it shows no signs of slowing down. The $71 billion budget is done, but there could a budget correction bill, as Gov. John Kasich has done every non-budget year. There’s the “Ohio 2020” plan that includes five measures to lower the cost of starting a business in Ohio, charter school accountability, a bill that sponsors say would reduce state oil and gas regulatory delays, a water quality bill to help deal with algae blooms in Lake Erie and more access to naloxone. And there’s been action on other bills dealing with guns, abortion, and other key issues. The leaders of the Ohio House talk about that and more - Speaker Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) and Minority Leader Fred Strahorn (D-Dayton).
