Akron Symphony

The Akron Symphony Orchestra has announced a series of podcasts called Unorchestrated, a program of conversation, music, musicians and the communitieds they serve.  The first series will feature Akron-born poet Rita Dove and here book of poems called Sonata Mulattica, which talks about Black violinist George Bridgetower.   It's availabel through Apple podcasts, Spotify and Libsyn.  


Beck Center

Beck Center for the Arts is presenting its first virtual production, Fully Committed.  It opens November 13th and runs until November 29th.  

Church of the Covenant

At the Church of the Covenant in University Circle, there are two series of drive-in carillon concerts, on Fridays at lunchtime, 12:15, and on Sunday afternoons at 4:00

CityMusic Cleveland

CityMusic Cleveland presents the Celebrating Women’s Rights to Vote and Create series. On November 20th, it’s The Night of Quiet Stars with quartets by Teresa Carreno and Florence Price.  On December 6th, the program is Baroque Reflections.  Live performances take place at the Shrine Church of St. Stanislaus.  The programs will also be recorded for release on CityMusic’s You Tube channel.  Reservations are required for the live performances.  2166-632-3572  

Cleveland Chamber Collective

Cleveland Chamber  Collective will perform at the Bop Stop on December 15th.  While the live performance seating will be very limited, it will be streamed live on Facebook.


Cleveland Cinematheque

Cleveland Cinemateque’s Virtual Multiplex has more than twenty films available for viewing on line, with new films being added each week.  You can check out the current list at their website. 

Cleveland Musicians Union

Local Four of the Cleveland Musicians Union is staging a virtual concert series on the third Thursday evening of each month with performances both classical and jazz scheduled through May, 2021.  Look for the Local 4 Music Fund website  

Cleveland Orchestra CHristmas

Because of the continued rise of positive cases of COVID 19 in Northeast Ohio, the Cleveland Orchestra has cancelledt its annual Christmas concerts at Severance Hall. 


Feast is a ballet based on the English master gardener Lancelo Capability Brown, the man who introduced the idea of broad green lawns as being the height of fashion, displacing wild landscapesThe world premiere will premiere live on line on Friday evening, November 27th, and will be available for streaming through November 29th.

Les Delices

Les Delices is presenting a live-streamed early music variety show called Salon Era on alternate Monday evenings, November 16th  and  30th as well as December 14th

Maltz Performing Arts Center

CIM Faculty member pianist Daniel Shapiro will perform several Beethoven Piano Sonatas in the Live Stream at Silver Hall series at the Maltz Performing Arts Center on Sunday evening, November 29th at 8:00. 

Margi Griebling-Haigh

The short one-act chamber Opera called The White Trout by Margi Griebling-Haigh has debuted on You Tube.  The story comes from an Irish folk tale. 



No Exit

No Exit, Cleveland's new music ensemble, continues its twelfth concert season with a program called Pioneering Works, a concert of a half-dozen brief pieces by Iannis Xenakis, Gyorgy Ligeti, Betsy Jolas, Leo Ornstein and Charles Delaney.  It's an online concert taking place on Friday evening, November 27th.
