Cleveland indie rock heroes Cloud Nothings perform a virtual album release show from the Grog Shop, Saturday Feb. 27.

Streaming concerts from some indie rock young guns and a Cleveland jazz legend are a couple of online options to satisfy your arts and culture fix. Here are five virtual arts events to check out from Northeast Ohio artists and art institutions.

Grog Shop

The Grog Shop presents Northeast Ohio indie rockers Cloud Nothings in a virtual concert from its stage in Cleveland Heights. The band debuts its latest recording, "The Shadow / Remember," with this online album release party Saturday, Feb. 27 at 4 p.m.

The Bop Stop

Jazz saxophonist Howie Smith, Professor Emeritus of music at Cleveland State University, performs his annual solo show for his "Jazz Survey" class. This year's concert goes live online from the Bop Stop stage Friday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.

Cuyahoga County Public Library

For Black History Month, a collection of popular films is available online via Cuyahoga County Public Library's  streaming partner Kanopy. Featured movies include Oscar-winner "Moonlight" and the acclaimed documentary about James Baldwin, "I Am Not Your Negro."

Ohio Shakespeare Festival

The Akron-based Ohio Shakespeare Festival might not be performing at its home of Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens but instead is producing quarantine radio dramas. The OSF's latest is " Lady Molly: The Murder at Mathis Cafe" based on a 1910 story by Baroness Emma Orczy.

Zygote Press

The Cleveland printmaking studio Zygote Press presents The Silver Edition: Zygote's 25th Year Block Party. The virtual stream features studio visits with local printmakers and former artists-in-residence Saturday, Feb. 27, starting at 2 p.m.

Dave DeOreo is coordinating producer for Ideastream Public Media’s arts and culture team.
