The month of March brings both Irish and Women's history celebrations from dance music to creative writing. Here are five online opportunities from Northeast Ohio artists and art institutions.

Hudson Library and Historical Society

Hudson Library and Historical Society gets a head start on St. Patrick’s Day by streaming traditional Irish dance music, including a performance by uilleann piper Brian Bigley. The “St. Patrick’s Day Concert” goes live on Facebook Sunday, March 14 at 2 p.m.

Elizabeth’s Bookshop and Writing Centre

To celebrate Women’s History Month, Dr. Misha Rai leads the “Build Your Own Heroine: A Character Building Workshop” for Elizabeth’s Bookshop and Writing Centre in Akron. The event streams on Thursday, March 11 at 7 p.m.

Beck Center for the Arts

The Beck Center for the Arts’ alumni show is streaming now until March 28. “Beck Broadway Alums in Concert” boasts talent from professional alumni like Colton Ryan of "Dear Evan Hansen," Rebecca Pitcher of "Phantom of the Opera" and Rory O’Malley of "Hamilton" and "Book of Mormon."

River Gallery

River Gallery in Rocky River presents the Wooten Clayworks Visual Artist series with Ohio ceramicist Brad Schwieger Saturday, March 13. Artists of all levels can ask questions, witness his technique and experience a collection tour.

Cleveland Museum of Art

The Cleveland Museum of Art streams “From Creation to Collection: Making and Marketing Drawings in 19th-Century France” on March 11 and 12 at 2 p.m. During the two-day conference, international scholars present current research on drawings from 1800s France.
