215 Acres of Land in Kent to be Turned Into a Metro Park

It's not every day that a city in Northeast Ohio gets a new park. Some, like Akron, Lyndhurst and Aurora are in the process of converting former golf courses into sprawling metro parks. This year the Portage Park District completed a purchase of 215 acres of land in Kent and is in the process of deciding what stays, what goes and what will be built.
