Inbox: Come up with a creative way to reopen a movie theater that still keeps people safe.

Last week, we told you about a drive-in movie theater opening with new restrictions due to the pandemic. We wanted to know, what's a creative way to reopen a movie theater while still keeping everyone safe? Here's some of your ideas!

Cameron, Tallmadge Elementary in Tallmadge: I think you should have to purchase your movie tickets online and there should be a limit to the amount of people in the building. Now when the time comes that your there about to get snacks, the workers should have to ware gloves and masks and you should only be able to have prepackaged stuff like candy, they should have to hand your items to you on a trey. They should also have to change their gloves after each customer. When going to sit down to watch your movie I think one family or person should sit in the middle then the next row would have two families but they have to sit on the side seats in the next row. Then you would just alternate middle seats side seats.

Colin, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Eastlake: One way that we can reopen the movies is by having people sit six feet away from each other that way we can social distance and enjoy the movie. We can also create an app that lets you order food from the concession stand and they will bring the food to you.

Leighla, McCormick Middle School in Wellington:

A creative way to open up the movies again is you can mark off seats to create social distancing. Another way is that you will be assigned a time to come in so you are not all entering at the same time. One more reason is when you come to the snack and drink stand you were mask and gloves and when you get inside were you take your seat you can take the gloves off.

Allie, Surrarer Elementary School in Strongsville:

If I had a movie theater and I would like to open it, I would recommend that everyone would stay 6 feet apart, especially in line for snacks. I would have the arcade section closed. When people watch the movie I would have someone sit in every 2 chairs. That is what I would do if I had my own movie theater to reopen.

Savannah, Freedom Elementary School in West Chester:

Movie theaters can have seats six feet apart and they can make robots to hand us tickets and snacks wearing gloves, six feet apart, of course. Or the robots can hold a long stick with a plate glued to it.
