NewsDepth Inbox: Season 49 - Episode #26

We're so impressed with the Earth Day poems you sent us! Below are some of the submissions we received:

Vada, Silver Lake Elementary: The snow melts, the flowers come out. Spring has sprung, Earth has shown it's true colors. Earth looks at children's faces, the new season has come. Earth has sprung into something new, chances are you will bloom soon.

Ava, Lake Elementary:

Our Earth needs to be kept clean,

Picture it as a castle for a queen.

Every flower, bush, and tree,

Every dog, cat, and bee.

Needs our Earth to be clean.

Kailyn, Gilles Sweet Elementary: A billion years ago, there was a beautiful birth, it made people come to life. Did you know that that was our earth? The grass then grew. And the birds flew. It was a great day, when the Earth came to play!

Kayleigh, Grant Elementary:

Keep the earth clean it is your only home.

It is the home everyone knows they own.

The earth has trees that help you breathe.

The earth gives you everything we need.

Camryn, Leroy Elementary: Earth is round with a skylight blue it makes a perfect home just for you. All its colors are pretty and new with every new thing you do. Earths a fun and exciting place for me and for you.
