Coronavirus Puts Spotlight On Social Safety Net; Workplace Questions Raised By Pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has sidelined many from the workforce and put a spotlight on the social safety net.  Federal and state policy makers are moving to help fill the needs created by the disruptions caused by the pandemic.  But advocates say attention must be paid to the most vulnerable populations for whom recommendations to stay home from work or stock up on essentials may be difficult or even impossible.  We will discuss the policy needs created by the pandemic.
