Hard to Swallow: A Brief History of "Seeing" Inside the Human Body

Modern medicine has at its disposal an arsenal of diagnostic tools that allow doctors to "see" inside the body to treat illness and ailments.  But getting to today's modern treatments involved innovation that incorporated medicine, science and even art.  An in-depth look at that history and the future for endoscopic medicine is the focus of Hard to Swallow a Health Exchanges program presented by the Global Center for Health Innovation in conjunction with the Dittrick Medical History Center and Museum at Case Western Reserve University.
