Travel stress and gift-giving issues are as synonymous with the holidays as cookies and eggnog. Heightened emotions can give way to bad manners and poor etiquette. How do you navigate the airplane lines with finesse and patience? Is there an appropriate way to re-gift a present?

To answer those etiquette questions and others, Associate Producer Meredith Garretson spoke with Lizzie Post, Co-President of The Emily Post Institute. Lizzie is the great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post, author of the seminal 1922 book  Etiquette: In Society, In Business, In Politics, and  At Home

Lizzie has written and co-authored several etiquette books including the 19th edition of Emily Post’s Etiquette. She and her cousin Daniel Post Senning co-host the weekly podcast Awesome Etiquette, which tackles etiquette questions and conundrums.
