Ohio Manufacturers Step Up To Make PPE; Lessons From The 1918 Pandemic; Take Out Tuesday

With a shortage of critical personal protective equipment for healthcare workers and first responders during the coronavirus pandemic, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine says what Ohio can't buy, it will make. And manufacturers are stepping up to make that happen, retooling to make up to a million plastic face shields, for starters. We will learn from manufacturers about what it takes to retool. Later, what can the past teach us about the COVID-19 pandemic?  Historians tell us about the influenza pandemic of 1918 and what we can learn, including guidance on re-opening society. And we will highlight the Landmark Smokehouse and Twist Social Club as we launch "Takeout Tuesday," our weekly feature spotlighting restaurants.
