Legislators Under Budget Pressure, Plan For Failing Schools Proves Divisive

Lawmakers work overtime to come up with a budget deal as the fiscal year ticks down.

And as more school districts face the possibility of being taken over by the state because of failing grades, there are different ideas on what to do with them. We’ll have a view of two of them.
