New Roads Budget Hits The Gas, Deep Dive On School Funding Plan

Gridlock kept the transportation budget from getting signed on time, but that spending plan – along with increases in taxes on gasoline and diesel – got the green light.

The new school funding formula estimates more than a billion dollars more in K-12 spending – with no increases for some low-income schools and big percentage hikes for some wealthy districts. A deeper look into the proposed plan, this week in “The State of Ohio”.
