Searching For School Funding Solutions

Two state lawmakers say they have the fix to a problem that they and their colleagues have been struggling with for decades – school funding.But what will that formula mean to districts, all of which have lawmakers who work to get the most they can for them? And will it be enough to help the state’s poorest kids raise their test scores and overcome a poverty achievement gap that’s dogged the state for decades.
